medroxyprogesterone acetate (150MG/ML) for Contraception / birth control

I am 16 and decided to go on the depo to fix some very painful and nauseating periods, as well as contraception. I had it in January. I am still bleeding because of it today. Everything was okay for about a month, and then I got some spotting. I was fine with that as I thought it would stop after a little bit... boy was I wrong... the spotting turned into bleeding. I have been getting increasi...

medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control

On 22 June I had my first injection. After 28 days I started to bleed, and that was 16 days ago. According to the GP this is normal and can last up to 3 months. medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control

medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control

After trying Implanon, Nuvaring, copper coil, microgynon, Yasmin I had the injection 3 weeks ago. What a drama. I cannot wait until the male pill is on the market. Short of breath, palpitations, nervous, easily irritated, got heavier, snappy, stressed, hounded, no libido, cramp lower down the whole time, so everything you don't want really. Completely pointless, can't wait for it to get out of ...

medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control

To start off with I was really happy. After the first injection I bled for two weeks but then I didn't have any more periods. But after one year of being on this I developed a chronic bladder infection, kidney stones and a painful vagina. After all sorts of investigations, the urologist suggested I should stop having the injections. Since I stopped, all of the symptoms have disappeared. Accordi...
