norethisterone (5MG) for Postpone menstruation

I took the tablet TWICE a day THREE days before the expected period and a tablet TWICE a day during the expected period to delay for a holiday. It then returned 3 days after discontinued use. During the course of the holiday it worked great with no side effects and stopped my period whilst using it. However when my period came back it was the heaviest and most painful it has ever been. My perio...

norethisterone (5MG) for Postpone menstruation

I used this a few times to delay my period on holidays. First couple of times I took them for only around 4 days and it worked like a charm with no side affects. The third time however, I had a longer holiday and took it for 9 days in a row, just 1 tiny tablet a day, it gave me amplified PMS, I was acting crazy and not myself. After a fight with my bf, I went to the hotel room balcony to get so...

norethisterone (5MG) for Endometriosis

Terrible drug. Weight gain, insomnia, bloating, mood changes, acne, nausea. Like being constantly on your period, and hasn't helped my endometriosis.

norethisterone (5MG) for Postpone menstruation

I took these tablets, I started 1 day before my due period and they did exactly what I hoped to do. I was going on holidays for a week. My doctor gave me a 10 day course and instructed me to take 1 tablet three times daily, evenly spread throughout the day. Towards the end of the week, I became less conscious of it and took 2 daily, so I now have a couple of leftover tablets. They still worked ...

norethisterone (5mg) for irregular menstrual cycle

After being on my period for 3 and a half weeks, the GP gave me this pill. Period stopped within 2 days. Course of 10 days, 2 days after it finished back on my period for normal amount of time. Unfortunately my hormones are all over the place because of this pill and I've ended up with thrush. Luckily it did what it was supposed to! Side effects not great but not bad while I was actually taking...

norethisterone (5mg) for postpone menstruation

I take primolut to postpone my period before I go on holiday. I don't take it during my holiday but usually 1 or 2 months beforehand. That means that I then don't need to think about it because I know I won't come on during my holiday. I try to control it so that I have my period just before my holiday. It works really well for me and I've used it loads of times. No side effects.

norethisterone (5mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

Course over 10 days, 3 x a day 5 mg. The aim: to trigger bleeding in conjunction with thick endometrium so as to achieve a better echo and determine if there were any polyps. Got a history of depression. After 4 days I was incredibly irritable and liable to mood swings. I started bleeding 2 days after stopping but much less than my regular periods. I wonder if this is enough to get a decent ech...

norethisterone (5mg) for irregular menstrual cycle

I stopped taking the pill in May and since then only had one period. GP prescribed me primolut. Take 2 a day for 10 days. Stopped on Monday and now I'm just waiting for my period to start. I didn't have any problems with it luckily and I am hoping that my periods will come back quickly and regularly.

norethisterone (5mg) for postpone menstruation

I've used primolut N twice over summer holidays and bought it from the pharmacy. It does what it's supposed to do and both times I haven't had any side effects. And they are really small pills and it's really easy to swallow them.
