paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (40 mg) for depression

I've had depression for about 4 years and finally decided to talk about it. I was put on Paroxetine 20mgs with nil changes, then i was put on 40mgs. Depression subsided but my weight gain was HUGE i put on 10 kilos in just a few months which made me MORE depressed and if i missed a dose i would feel awful shaking, headaches, electric shocks, etc. I also had no sex drive at all, affected my re...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (10mg) for chronic depression

I wouldn't recommend this medicine to any one who hasn't at least tried all the other alternatives first. I'm now taking citalopram with few, if any, side effects, but I am still suffering with the IBS I developed when I was taking paroxetine. Since then, I've also struggled with my weight.

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (40mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Unfortunately, years too late, I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Once I got to the point that I couldn't do anything, not even walk around my own house, there was nothing else to do but give paroxetine a go. I started slowly and finally got to 40 mg. The first weeks were hellish.. everything was a lot worse, but now 3 years later I am glad that I stuck with it, it's allowed me to live a...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for chronic depression

I just want to say that I managed to stop taking this without any problems, and that was 4 months ago. If you want to stop taking this, don't be put off by the negative experiences of others. The people who stopped properly (like me) and without problems are less likely to post reviews than those who have negative experiences of stopping.

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (10mg) for anxiety disorder

This drug probably should have helped, but it's not an easy one to stop using ... Just found out that from 10 mg and lower, it's especially hard to come off it. This medicine is pure hell when you want to come off it. Everyone knows the withdrawal symptoms already: stomach and bowels all over the place, really nauseous, easily irritated, noise and light heightened x10, lifeless, dead almost. I ...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (30mg) for depression

Helped really well. Felt so good that I thought (after 17 years) I could manage without. Tried to come off it slowly. But after I'd finished, the symptoms all came back. So on the advice of my psychiatrist back on to medication, trying Citalopram as it's easier to come off it and it's supposed to be a more modern drug. Side effects: shaky, loss of libido, drowsiness, weight gain.

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Because of a serotonin deficiency, the GP started me on 20 mg of Sandoz paroxetine back in 1998. great medicine. I've now been given 20 mg Aurobindo paroxetine. A few months ago. now taking 3 tablets and getting anxiety attacks as well as the symptoms listed above. I think it's quite irresponsible that I've been given these tablets made by someone else and they have such a radical effect on me.

On Paroxetine I felt like a robot, totally a different person, felt falsely happy every day, really OTT. I feel a bit better now I'm on Lexapro, bit more like my old self!

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

It takes a little while to get used to it at first. But I'm never stopping again. I'd rather get used to it, enjoy life and put on a few extra pounds than be anxious and just skin and bones.

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

I was so reluctant to use antidepressants, but now so very glad I actually did. After years of struggle, trying to find out what was wrong with me. All my mood swings, always worrying and feeling insecure, others having to be careful around me because I wanted to be left alone. Now I finally have my life back. I am so very happy. My head is clear and I feel balanced. During the initial adjustme...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for depression

Works well on my depression. Adapting to the right dose was very hard due to the serious side effects. I had problems going to the loo, feeling dizzy and light-headed sometimes, often very sweaty, trouble sleeping and I gained weight. After a few weeks I noticed improvements and a reduction in side effects. Some of the side effects kept on and their annoying but that’s all. I learned to live wi...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (10mg) for depression

Good drug for depression but I wouldn't recommend it. You're better off taking something natural, like St John's Wort. I was once told never to start taking it (paroxetine). But I wasn't told why. But if I had known then what I know now I would never have taken it. After taking it for a long time (12 years, 30 mg) it dampens all your feelings and affects your memory. Coming off it has so many s...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for bipolar disorder

because of severe depression with delusions, the psychologist gave me paroxetine. back then we didn't know I was bipolar. it helped really well and quickly with the depression but there were lots of side effects like weight gain and sleepiness. if you are depressed you don't mind these side effects because there is nothing worse than being depressed. but it stopped working after 6 years. at tha...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Because of trauma in my youth I now suffer with anxiety and panic disorder. On top of that I became depressed. On my own initiative I started taking medicine and the GP recommended paroxetine. I had a lot of problems with the side effects in the first two weeks; lack of concentration, really tired, no appetite but I still gained weight. But after that I haven't had any more problems with this. ...

paroxetine hydrochloride anhydrous (20mg) for emotional exhaustion / burnout

Paroxetine has ensured that the anxieties (social) that ultimately caused my breakdown have got less which means I can work as long as I have CBT as well. Now starting to come off it from 20-15-10-5-0, up to 5 no problems coming off but now definitely. Stopped for nearly 2 weeks but withdrawal symptoms are noticeable: tired, diarrhoea, stomach pain, nervous, irritable almost aggressive.
