Depo-Provera

medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control

On 22 June I had my first injection. After 28 days I started to bleed, and that was 16 days ago. According to the GP this is normal and can last up to 3 months. I'm now wondering if I really want to have the second injection, which you're supposed to have after 8 weeks. Before this, my periods were once a month, for 7 days, heavy. I tried this because it can sometimes stop you from bleeding altogether. I wonder if this really is for me though, can anyone advise me? Thanks!
