medroxyprogesterone acetate (150mg/ml) for contraception / birth control
After trying Implanon, Nuvaring, copper coil, microgynon, Yasmin I had the injection 3 weeks ago. What a drama. I cannot wait until the male pill is on the market. Short of breath, palpitations, nervous, easily irritated, got heavier, snappy, stressed, hounded, no libido, cramp lower down the whole time, so everything you don't want really. Completely pointless, can't wait for it to get out of my system. And the GP goes on about getting used to it, it would be best if I didn't need contraception any more but I like to enjoy myself and I'm single. So it's back to condoms but no one likes them. Of all of them I'd recommend Implanon and that wasn't great for me but it beat this one hands down.
