desloratadine (2,5mg) for allergy

I suffer sporadically with allergies. Mostly sinusitis. On the advice of the GP, I am supposed to take a pill every day. So I'd taken a couple of these little blue pills but then at the weekend I had to go to A&E to get a cortisone injection because I was covered in itchy spots. I also had a mild headache and was short of breath. At that point I still didn't realise that it was all because of t...

desloratadine (5mg) for allergy

From one day to the next I suddenly had a food allergy. A thick throat, swollen tong and other complaints. This might be caused by menopause. The desloratadine alleviates my complaints and helps a lot during attacks.

desloratadine (5mg) for urticaria

I use the maximum dose for chronic spontaneous urticarial with angioedema (hives). This medicine wasn't sufficient for me. I now take Montelukast as well and once a month I get 2 x 150 mg omalizumab (xolair). But I still need to take the Desloratadine alongside this. desloratadine (5mg) for allergy

I had an itching feeling on my hands for a week when I suddenly couldn’t sleep from an itch all over my body. Went immediately to my GP and got desloratadine. I had to take 3 at once the first 3 days, 2 the next 3 days and 1 a day the next days. The first day big round spots like urticaria appeared and my top lip was swollen. The itch did disappear, however I am never going to take this again!

desloratadine (2,5mg) for hayfever

Great medicine, does what it's supposed to do. Tiny little blue pill, easy to swallow. I haven't noticed any side effects.

desloratadine (5mg) for allergy

After I'd taken the allergy tablet in the morning I was tired all day and slept all through Sunday. I did try to get up but I just had to lie straight back down again. I even managed to sleep that night and when I tried to get up the next morning it was difficult and I was still tired.

desloratadine (5mg) for allergy

I'm not really very happy with this medicine. I sleep loads after taking it and can hardly do anything because I just want to sleep.
