Champix has totally help me stop smoking. Whatever it does, it's a miracle drug. I did have to stop after eight weeks because of increasingly worsening rashes. Since then smoke-free for two months, but still suffering with the rashes. Shame.

Smoked since I was 17, 25 cigarettes/day, on my 69th birthday decided to stop. After only two weeks the desire had gone. Eight weeks on and going to keep taking 2×1 mg/day until the 12th week. No side effects! Just a few extra dreams. Recommended, if you want to stop.

On the next first of April I will have stopped smoking eight years ago, I bought Champix at my own cost. Above all it was the Internet program "life rewards" that came with it that really helped me. I stopped really slowly because I smoked one and a half packets a day for 32 years. I'm still smoke free!

I've smoked for 35 years. I went to get nicotine patches but the pharmacist advised me to use these tablets instead, but I absolutely must stop smoking. I started taking the tablets and the need to smoke disappeared completely. I haven't finished the course yet but I haven't smoked a cigarette in around 2 months. So, it has worked.

I'd been meaning to stop smoking for a while and had prepared myself well - reading articles, discussing it with my GP and finally decided on Champix. I started on 03.09.14 and finished on 23.10.14. It went really well, no side effects or anything like that, 23.09.14 is when I smoked my last cigarette and haven't craved it since, I'd been smoking a lot for 41 years and I never expected it to be...

I am about to start taking Champix and I'm really curious. I've smoked since I was 14 and at the moment I'm on 50 a day. I hope I react positively to this medicine.

I have been using Champix now for almost 5 weeks and am very happy with it. Started on 21 September, stopped on 1 October. Did have a few mild side effects, like tiredness and now and then feeling a little blue (but of course they could also be physical effects of quitting...) but they have reduced since I started only taking half a tablet in the mornings last week. I never thought I'd be able ...
