varenicline tartrate (0,5+1mg) for Stop smoking
I have been using Champix now for almost 5 weeks and am very happy with it. Started on 21 September, stopped on 1 October. Did have a few mild side effects, like tiredness and now and then feeling a little blue (but of course they could also be physical effects of quitting...) but they have reduced since I started only taking half a tablet in the mornings last week. I never thought I'd be able to stop smoking, let alone persevere with it. I smoked for 33 years and this is my first attempt at stopping. I hope I've got the hardest part behind me and now all I have to do is finish the course of Champix.
