azathioprine (100mg) for ulcerative colitis

I take this as a maintenance medicine, together with salofalk 3 gr granules. Last month one flare up in years. (From) 2008 virtually symptom-free. Temporarily also taking 3 capsules of budesonide alongside it to get the inflammation back under control. Levels were higher. I get the impression that budesonide isn't actually doing much. Thursday I've got another tel consultation with the doctor.

azathioprine (50mg) for ulcerative colitis

Serious, almost unbearable back pain. High fever, 41 degrees. Really painful knees. Tinnitus. Lost half my hearing on my left hand side (temporarily??). Probably allergic to an ingredient.

At first I had to take 3 tablets a day, but the aza didn’t reach the required level. Allopurinol was added to increase the effects of Aza, now 1 tablet a day is all I need. I’ve never since had an attack, my...

azathioprine (75mg) for Crohn's disease

Diagnosed with Crohn's in May 2016. Prescribed azathioprine combined with remicade. In 2 months 3/4 of my hair fell out. Stopped straight away, but even then my hair continued to fall out for 1 more month. My hair has grown back. I get ill more quickly but that might be because of the remicade.
