Got this for pain after my kneecap popped out. For 2.5 weeks i used 3x 600 ibuprogen and 4x1000 paracetamol but after i took 5mg ocycodon, seriously pain free! One i was itchy all over my body, this went away after a shower. For a while i felt tired and nauseous. After three days i stopped feeling like a zombie and this went away.

Oxycodone (20mg) for hernia

Almost immediately after taking de oxycodon 20 mg, the pain is gone. This way I can move again. By moving I can work better on my rehab. During weaning myself of the oxycodon, the pain comes back but is bearable. Besides Oxycodon, I also use naproxen and paracetamol.

Oxycodone (10mg) for bacterial infection

because of an inflamed tendon in the palm of my right hand I was prescribed this by my doctor. I didn't notice any difference except that I was slightly dizzy. Luckily that went away pretty quickly. As an asthma patient, luckily I haven't had any issues with breathing difficulties.

Oxycodone (10mg) for low back pain

I had an operation in October 2016, a posterior lumbar interbody fusion, a serious operation that took 6 hours where they put screws into my back.(retracting the back nerve roots) I've been taking oxycodone for 9 months now, it certainly helps me, it definitely makes the pain go away, you feel really good on it. Until it's worn off. feel sleepy, tired, uncomfortable. so it's addictive.

Oxycodone (10mg) for pain (general)

I was prescribed this drug for polyneuropathy and polymyalgia rheumatic on top of scoliosis in my lower back. The whole gamut had been tried: paracetamol, codeine, diclofenac, tramadol, cortico-steroidal injections, all with little or no effect at all. Oxycodone fin-al-ly brought the pain down to a manageable level so I'm super happy with it. The only comment I have is that when I've had the le...

Oxycodone (20mg) for Guillain-Barré syndrome

I've got DVN which means a lot of nerve pain on my skin. Clothes, blankets, in fact anything that touches my legs gives me prickling skin. I've been taking OxyContin for two years. I've got a muscle disease and a neurostimulator for the pain. I'm able to live quite well but I am starting to notice that I am taking it more frequently. I'm not really happy about that. I've been on the same dose f...

Oxycodone (30mg) for arthrosis

After several operations on my left ankle and a total knee replacement on my right as well as arthrosis in both my hands, thumbs, index and middle fingers, I started taking oxycodon. I started off on 25 mg per day and I'm now on 70 mg per day. 2 x 35 mg. I can manage the obstipation quite well with the suppositories I get with it. Not nice but it's got to be done. I also take 1 pantoprazol 40 m...

Oxycodone (10mg) for erysipelas

I got a very aggressive form of erysipelas. Friday lunch time a small red spot appeared on my calf and Saturday morning I was lying in hospital with a half open, eaten calf up to my knee and my lymph nodes were struggling to cope. I had an infusion of 7 different antibiotics. The pain was unbearable and I have a very high pain threshold. Oxycodon took the worst of the pain away. But I was also ...

Oxycodone (5mg) for pain (general)

I was prescribed this medicine after an operation. My coccyx (tailbone) was removed. This drug was to soften the pain. So that I didn't get addicted I only took this now and then. When I was in really bad pain or when I had a lot to do in the day. I am quite happy with the effect. It gave me a very relaxed feeling, which was really nice, given that the pain could make me curl up in cramps. I of...

Oxycodone (20mg) for rectal cancer

These tablets are supposed to work for 12 hours but they did nothing for me. I only figured out later why...the tablets don't dissolve until they get to your colon. Unfortunately I had my entire colon removed because of cancer...the GP hadn't even thought about that. got capsules now and they're a bit better.

Oxycodone (10mg) for rectal cancer

I've had these capsules for a while now and they are better for me than a morphine patch or the slow-release oxycodon. Good medicine and hardly any side effects. you only notice that they wear off after 4 hours if you take them for a long time, but only about 3 hours. so take them on time.

Oxycodone (10mg) for back pain

I've been using oxycodone since I had nine vertebrae fused (spondylodesis) in 2015, it takes the worst pain away, unfortunately it leaves a bit of (residual) pain. Oxycodone increased in January this year, 2×10 mg sustained release and 2x 5 mg probably because of long-term use this has no extra effect.

After years and years of taking tramadol the pain I was getting with my fibromyalgia was getting worse and worse. After reassessment I was prescribed oxy and up till now I am quite happy with it, not many problems with side effects but that might because because I've been taking tramadol for so long.
