Tramadol (50mg) for pain (general)

neck pain, as well as shoulder and arm pain. had some troubles for the first few days but they subsided after that, this is a good medication against extreme pain. Since i'm an alcoholic this medication in combination made me go on a weird trip and i saw indians coming out of my power outlets, it was kind of fun. :)

Oxycodone (5mg) for pain (general)

Got this for pain after my kneecap popped out. For 2.5 weeks i used 3x 600 ibuprogen and 4x1000 paracetamol but after i took 5mg ocycodon, seriously pain free! One i was itchy all over my body, this went away after a shower. For a while i felt tired and nauseous. After three days i stopped feeling like a zombie and this went away.

Oxycodone

Oxycodone (10mg) for pain (general)

I was prescribed this drug for polyneuropathy and polymyalgia rheumatic on top of scoliosis in my lower back. The whole gamut had been tried: paracetamol, codeine, diclofenac, tramadol, cortico-steroidal injections, all with little or no effect at all. Oxycodone fin-al-ly brought the pain down to a manageable level so I'm super happy with it. The only comment I have is that when I've had the le...

Morphine

Morphine (1mg/ml) for pain (general)

My 14 year old son was regularly given morphine over a 6 week period in hospital. It helped with the pain. He was administered it constantly via IV and when he was on the ward he had an infusion pump so he could administer it himself. Advantage: it quickly helped the pain to go away. Advantage of the pump: he could self-regulate, this kind of independence is very important at his age. Disadvant...

Tramadol

Tramadol (100mg) for pain (general)

This made me incredibly sick and stressed, and didn't help with the pain. I was getting in trouble with the staff at the hospital because I was eating so little and lost so much weight. But this medicine left me without any appetite. I had to force myself to eat otherwise I would never have got better. It was terrible. I definitely do not want this rubbish again.

Morphine

8/27/2016 | | 48moderated by Charlotte
Morphine (60mg ) for pain (general)

This is the last medicine I take, for real! Only when there is no other alternative left. You get addicted, you need more and more, and the physical symptoms that I get from it are pretty bad. Serious bowel problems, you get constipated for which you are prescribed more medication, lactulose and macrogol. But that gives you diarrhoea. So you stop the lactulose which just causes more misery. In ...

Oxycodone

Oxycodone (5mg) for pain (general)

I was prescribed this medicine after an operation. My coccyx (tailbone) was removed. This drug was to soften the pain. So that I didn't get addicted I only took this now and then. When I was in really bad pain or when I had a lot to do in the day. I am quite happy with the effect. It gave me a very relaxed feeling, which was really nice, given that the pain could make me curl up in cramps. I of...

Diclofenac

Diclofenac (75mg) for pain (general)

No side-effects with this medicine. I don't take omeprazole with it. They always add it on because of my long-term use. I don't see the point of it. I do have to take paracetamol often as well because the diclofenac doesn't provide enough pain relief.

Celebrex

Celecoxib (200mg) for pain (general)

This medicine is supposed to be an anti-inflammatory and a painkiller. Doesn't help with nagging pain or for nerve/stabbing pain. Also I still seem to have the same symptoms as before; whenever I do anything active I get a mild fever that doesn't subside. Totally doesn't help… But the doctor told me to stick with it. Also regular diarrhoea with yellow-coloured mucous (stays in the toilet; bile?...

I've been using methotrexate for six months. I'm suffering with dizziness, getting tired quickly, putting on weight. But I also don't have pain after using it.

Diclofenac

Diclofenac (50mg) for pain (general)

My experience is: it takes the pain away, works quickly. But loads and loads of stomach and bowel problems. Took it for three days (with a gastric protector) and from day one suffered with vomiting and nausea, not forgetting the stomach cramps. I was really sick from it! (Not recommended if you've got a weak stomach or bowels.)

Diclofenac

Diclofenac (75mg) for pain (general)

I took this medicine on the advice of the radiotherapist because I was suffering with radiation injuries. The periosteum on my ribs is excessively sensitive which means I can't wear any tight clothes or even a bra. Using an anti-inflammatory was supposed to reduce the pain. Unfortunately loads of side-effects (stomach and bowel problems) and no change to the pain. It even seemed to have the opp...

Diclofenac

Diclofenac (50mg) for pain (general)

The most extreme kind of side effect: bleeding after a stomach ulcer that was located on an artery. I lost 4 l of blood and was in hospital for 3 days and operated on. I was bed-bound for 6 weeks and it was only after 5 months that my blood levels were on the up and I was starting to feel ok. And I am only 33 despite the fact that it says in the patient information leaflet that stomach ulcers a...
