I had an operation in October 2016, a posterior lumbar interbody fusion, a serious operation that took 6 hours where they put screws into my back.(retracting the back nerve roots) I've been taking oxycodone for 9 months now, it certainly helps me, it definitely makes the pain go away, you feel really good on it. Until it's worn off. feel sleepy, tired, uncomfortable. so it's addictive.
