Femoston

dydrogesterone, estradiol hemihydrate (0,5/2,5MG) for Premature menopause

I was on Femoston for years Starting with the lower dose. At first it improved my moods but the night sweats never really went away for long then came back with a vengeance. I also had terrible day sweats and my moods changed again. I changed to Evorel after seeing a consultant. Since starting the patches everything feels a lot better. Better sleep Better skin and my bones ache less. I don...

beclometasone dipropionate, formoterol fumarate dihydrate (Fostair NEXThaler 100micrograms/dose / 6micrograms/dose dry powder inhaler (Chiesi Ltd)) for Asthma

I have been on this for 4 weeks now once in a morning and once at night. It has changed my life. I feel like a person without asthma I feel 100% cured. I sleep soundly and night, used to always start wheezing when I lay down but not any more. I can now exercise without any wheezing afterwards and I can train much harder. It may not suit everyone but it has been amazing for me. It is certainly w...

Flucloxacillin

flucloxacillin sodium (500MG) for Impetigo

Prescribed for impetigo above brow. First day I called 111 as I was a little concerned my lips looked weird: went really white and swollen in bumps. Had no other allergy symptoms so was advised to continue. Correct, lips feel better, still dry but no longer swollen. Anxiety has started to get a hold of me as of day 2 and today I am suffocating. Really panicky, anxious and depressed. I am going ...

beclometasone dipropionate, formoterol fumarate dihydrate (6mg) for Asthma

I have been given the neither,I have told the doctor I can't use it. It needs to be sucked hard, and when I have a bad day with asthma I haven't got the strength. Also the powder is agitating the cough, and I can feel it crunching between my teeth.like others have mentioned, you can't tell if its worked either, counter doesn't work, its useless. It was better in an aerosol type ,no dust/powder ,an...

Valdoxan

agomelatine (25MG) for Depression

I was prescribed valdoxan and took it for 2 years. It made a difference for me and really eased my depression and anxiety. But I would wake up everyday unmotivated. I ended up getting a sports blood test and was diagnosed with h pylori. I wish I did this 2 years ago because it causes depression and anxiety. Within weeks of treatment from my naturopath I was ready to come off the valdoxan so I t...

Xanax

alprazolam (0,5MG) for Anxiety & panic disorder

This drug has saved me on a thousand occasions, from generalized anxiety, panic attacks up to situations of severe insomnia, where the next day I had to get up early to go to work. I have always considered it a life-saving med: it is an excellent anxiolytic and I consider it very valid also for those suffering from sleep disorders, because it does not leave heaviness or drowsiness the next day,...

agomelatine (25MG) for Anxiety disorder

I was prescribed this medication during an extremely traumatic period in my life. I had increased nightmares, disturbed dreaming, migraines, nausea, headaches, restless leg syndrome, anxiety, jitters, heartburn and sore neck, back and aching muscles and finally exhaustion. I lasted 13 days until people started saying how tired I looked. I then read the side effects and immediately stopped. ...

Flucloxacillin

flucloxacillin sodium (500MG) for Otitis media (ear infection)

I am taking this for an ear infection, which an ear spray did not shift after a couple of days. The capsules taste burnt, but otherwise taking them is fine. I experienced some intestinal gas, but not that much. The major side effect on the second day is acute anxiety. I take an SNRI for depression, but I have not had any anxiety symptoms recently until now.

Gyno-Daktarin

22/06/2022 | | 38moderated by Henry
miconazole nitrate (400MG) for Candidiasis

This capsule is too harsh for vaginal use. The manual says 1 in 10,000 users experience side effects, this is a lie. The burning and itching that comes from using it is just too excessive, unnecessary, the yeast infection was not even that itchy, common. I felt like pulling out my hair, I had to pull out whatever was left of it and then i got a tad bit relief. I will definitely not use the last...

Valdoxan

agomelatine (25MG) for Depression

I take this for depression and sleep issues. It definitely helps with the sleep. The full dose (50mg) is very strong, I quickly went back down to 25mg. The trick is timing the dose, if you take it too late at night, too close to bed, you will wake up drowsy, and it can through your day out. I can't speak much to the anti-depressive effect. The fact that it helps with sleep definitely will impac...

Zopiclone

04/06/2022 | | 46moderated by Philip
zopiclone (7,5MG) for Insomnia

I started taking Zopiclone to relieve insomnia as an alternative to benzos (which had left me feeling groggy, numb and unable to think or focus). I took half a tablet most nights, and generally enjoyed good nights' sleep, and woke feeling refreshed and rested (again, unlike benzos). As an additional benefit, it eliminated my anxiety. I stopped taking Zopiclone after 18 months, with NO withd...

Femoston

dydrogesterone, estradiol hemihydrate (1/5MG) for Menopause

I have been on this HRT treatment for years. I have no side effects at all and can thoroughly recommend. Hot flushes and night sweats stopped after about a week and have never returned (unless I leave it too long before starting the next 28-day cycle). I take Femoston 1/10.

NiQuitin

nicotine resinate (7MG/24UUR) for Stop smoking

Very poor quality compared with a rival brand. Does not stick to skin as it should. It is meant to do two things: stick to skin, release nicotine. It fails at one of those, and I'm not sure it succeeds at the other. A rival brand is infinitely better.

Zopiclone

zopiclone (7,5MG) for Anxiety & panic disorder

I would like to share my experience with zopiclone. It has really helped me in two episodes of general anxiety. I took one pill before bed for almost 6 months. When i felt more at ease, i started to tapper off slowly during two months, till the point where i reached a quarter of the pill. Then i knew it was already placebo. I started to sleep well on my own again. Thank God. No withdrawl effect...

Zoely

estradiol hemihydrate, nomegestrol acetate (1,5/2,5MG) for Contraception / birth control

Zoely worked great as a birth control pill, but without even realising it at first, it started to change me. I felt depressed for the first few months, which luckily went away. My libido was very low. My brain felt fuzzy like I wasn't really paying full attention.

citalopram hydrobromide (20mg ) for Anxiety & panic disorder

I've been on citalopram for more than 12 years, I dropped to a 10mg after having my child. Now due to anxiety my doctor put me up to a 20mg and I'm nearly 2 weeks in to taken them and my anxiety is through the roof... my mornings are the worst and I'm finding it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel as it is so intense. I've never had side effects from upping my medication and I think ...

Bipolar disorder

major depressive disorder (mdd)

Life on a daily basis is purely black and white and not a colourful break to break the bleakness of bipolar disorder and the over whelming feeling of impending doom is only a heartbeat away,I'm 59 and first episode began as a 8 year child, and in some respects it was and still is an extremely taboo subject.
