norethisterone (5mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

After having bled non stop for 3.5 months on cerazette, I was prescribed this to stop the very heavy uncontrollable bleeding. It worked within hours and I have enjoyed 2 period free weeks which has been a blessing. Just waiting to start bleeding again and then need to take it again after my period. Felt great, no side effects whatsoever and allowed me to get a much needed break from constant bl...

desogestrel (0,075mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

I am in perimenopause and started suffering with very heavy although regular and painless periods. I was prescribed this after several investigations didn't find anything more serious than a small fibroid. Started taking it on the first day of my period and bled for 11 days instead of the usual 7. Three days later I started bleeding again and bled for another week. I basically bled for the enti...

ethinylestradiol/levonorgestrel (30/150ug) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

Started taking this pill when I was 14 because I was having such heavy, irregular periods. I'm now 21. The side effects started very slowly and I didn't know that it was anything to do with the pill tbh. I've noticed a drastic drop in my libido, I've put on over 10 kg and often have depressive thoughts. Seriously considering switching to the mirena.

ethinylestradiol/levonorgestrel (30/50ug) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

I've always had the most horrendous periods. They came every 3 weeks and they were heavy. 3 months ago I started taking this pill. It took a while in the beginning to get used to the hormones and I didn't always feel great but before I started on the pill my mood was just awful! After about one month I felt great, I hardly have any periods any more and I feel fantastic.

norethisterone (5mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

Course over 10 days, 3 x a day 5 mg. The aim: to trigger bleeding in conjunction with thick endometrium so as to achieve a better echo and determine if there were any polyps. Got a history of depression. After 4 days I was incredibly irritable and liable to mood swings. I started bleeding 2 days after stopping but much less than my regular periods. I wonder if this is enough to get a decent ech...

estradiol hemihydrate, nomegestrol acetate (1,5/2,5mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

Really heavy periods without contraceptives. I really struggle with the hormones (anxiety/panic/depression). I've certainly noticed that it's a bit better than with other pills. But the best thing is no more periods!! Still having a few hot flushes. Only used 2 strips so maybe I still need to get used to it a bit.

desogestrel (0,075mg) for abnormal vaginal blood loss

Cerazette is my last hope. I reacted strongly to the pill, after having my daughter I had a mirena coil but it gave me hormonal migraines and yeast infections, nuvaring had to come out after a week because of terrible itching, painful breasts, nausea. I've been on cerazette for 10 days and for 5 days I've had a yeast infection that just won't go away
