levocetirizine dihydrochloride (5mg) for hayfever

This works for the hayfever symptoms but the side effects mean you're dead tired all day long, don't have any energy and can't function properly at work during the day: you want to (and can) just fall asleep. I also had no more energy and that's why I got fatter. (probably because I couldn't be arsed any more).

7 months ago I started suffering with hives and that's when I started takin levocetirizine 1 pill before I went to bed and within half an hour it worked! Sometimes I can skip 1 day but 2 days is out of the question. Then up come the blisters and pressure points! So happy with this medicine!

I've had bad allergic reactions ever since puberty, such as sneezing, itchy eyes, palate, nose and ears. Runny nose, watery eyes and the feeling of always having a cold. Very similar to hayfever but I also suffer in the autumn and winter. I now take 1 x levocetirizine tablet and have few if any symptoms any more. I have developed several allergies and this helps me manage them. but my experience is that they become less effective over time.
