Doxycycline (100MG) for Acne / spots

I started using Doxycycline for 3 months for acne on my face, chest and back in February. The acne was very annoying and I always had to wear closed shirts. The first few days I took the medicine without food, but it quickly changed to eating with food because I vomited. If I ate something first, it went much better and I actually had little trouble. My acne slowly became less but never complet...

Doxycycline (100mg) for acne / spots

At 32 years old, my dermatologist prescribed me Doxycicline because I had a huge pimple on my face. While taking the medication, I had no more pimples. The day I stopped, my face covered with a huge plate of buttons with a white tip. The plaque was increasingly covering my face from hour to hour, I didn't know what to do to stop it. I had to stop eating all the foods that contain sugar to stop ...

Doxycycline (20mg/ml) for acne / spots

Two months ago I started taking doxycycline for acne. I noticed a difference after just one and a half weeks and once my treatment had finished (6 weeks), my skin was perfectly smooth all over. Unfortunately it's come back again and I felt so red that I called my dermatologist to see if I could bring my appointment forward. I've just started taking a 6-month course of Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) ...

Doxycycline (100mg) for pneumonia

Got this medicine because of an ongoing cough. The thorax image was great but I couldn't shake the cough. So then I tried these pills. I had already had them quite often before for bronchitis. Now, these pills give me terrible stomach ache. So I use a gastric protector as well. Which helps. When I used them before I also had really bad stomach cramps and diarrhoea. This time I took a probiotic ...

Doxycycline (100mg) for bacterial infection

Folliculitis looks like acne on your scalp, but it's usually caused in older people by a bacterium. I used this medicine for one month in place of Minocycline, which is also moderately effective but for me perhaps slightly more effective. Unfortunately I've had this for 8 years now and it shows no sign of disappearing...!
