Anoro

Umeclidinium / vilanterol (50mg) for pneumonia

Anoro is pretty nice to pleasant to take as i haven't noticed any side effects so far. Apotheek gives good instructions on how to use the inhaler. Even after just a few minutes you feel like you can breathe better. An advantage of Anoro is that it lasts very long, about 24 hours in my case.

Amoxicillin (100mg/ml) for pneumonia

My son (4 yrs) got this medicine for a pneumonia (which wasn’t the cause it seemed after a second opinion). His illness rapidly deteriorated with a high fever. After 2 days he was covered with rash with a swollen throat and couldn’t stand any light. It was an allergic reaction. It’s been a week now and he is still not recovered from the amoxicilline. Tired, rash and stomach ache.

Now, these pills give me terrible stomach ache. So I use a gastric protector as well. Which helps. When I used them before I also had really bad stomach cramps and diarrhoea. This time I took a probiotic ...

Clarithromycin (250mg) for pneumonia

After a few days of taking this medicine, I could no longer smell or taste anything. I still haven't got those senses back either. My GP said it could be a side effect. Is there anyone else who has experienced these side effects?
