Diclofenac

Diclofenac (75mg) for pain (general)

I took this medicine on the advice of the radiotherapist because I was suffering with radiation injuries. The periosteum on my ribs is excessively sensitive which means I can't wear any tight clothes or even a bra. Using an anti-inflammatory was supposed to reduce the pain. Unfortunately loads of side-effects (stomach and bowel problems) and no change to the pain. It even seemed to have the opposite effect to what it was supposed to have. I also get this effect with paracetamol. It just makes my pain worse. Even though (as far as I know) supposed to be a painkiller from an entirely different group. The pain hasn't gone but I feel a bit better without diclofenac.
