Methotrexate (2,5mg) for rheumatism

It is difficult to say. i dont know how i would feel if i hadnt taken this. i have colitis ulcerosa, this sickness may have a negative effect, but MTX works as an inhibitor , i have no idea how they effect one another. According to my pharmacist the MTX can have an effect on the flu shot. The flu shot was delayed for a few days to be safe.

Methotrexate (2,5mg) for psoriatic arthritis

Hello, I personally had a blue fear of starting this treatment in view of the catastrophic testimonies I was reading. I finally started the treatment by telling myself that as soon as the side effects are proported I will stop. And then, nothing, no fatigue, no pain, better, a hell of a peach and an invasive libido. Today it's been 3 weeks since I started and my psoriasis decreases in intensi...

Methotrexate (10mg) for arthritis

This medicine does not work for me. It causes a lot of hair loss even now. I've been using it for 4 years and still inflammation in my fingers and wrists occur regularly. I'm thinking about quitting because it gives me no benefits. Already discussed it with my specialist. I'm afraid I'll go bald if I continue to use it.

Methotrexate (2,5mg) for psoriasis

My skin problems (over the past 60 years) have actually been caused by my own sweat irritating my skin. "Everything" that contributes to me sweating (incl. the sun, but also physical exertion, stress, too-tight clothing, various heat sources, high temperatures and long-term dry periods) leads to skin irritation and sometimes to open wounds (because of scratching/scabs because of the itching), ...

Methotrexate (2,5mg) for rheumatism

Methotrexate has not helped me. I must have been taking it for a year and in that time, nothing has changed in terms of my rheumatoid arthritis. I have definitely suffered with side effects.

Methotrexate (2,5mg) for psoriatic arthritis

As a continuation of the flu it sometimes feels like I've been sick throughout all of a 5-month-long winter. I stay inside, only managed to leave the house to go to work but apart from that I feel too ill to eat out, exercise, do any outdoor activities or even play with the kids. This makes it really hard to keep taking this medicine, when you have to give up so many things that you enjoy. Okay...

Methotrexate (15 ml) for rheumatism

This medicine is aggressive with loads of side-effects, some of which are even really serious. After 2 1/2 months I started thinking about stopping this medicine and at the next consultation with the rheumatologist compared the problems with the side effects and we started looking for an alternative. I also wanted to ask for a complete blood work up just to make sure that this drug doesn't cont...

Methotrexate (15mg) for rheumatism

I've got RA and alongside the Methotrexate injections I take sulfasalazine, Plaquenil and prednisolone. As well as that other medicines for my heart. Above all I am really tired and lethargic for the first 2 days following the injections. But it really works for me, in combination with the other medicines.
