This is the last medicine I take, for real! Only when there is no other alternative left. You get addicted, you need more and more, and the physical symptoms that I get from it are pretty bad. Serious bowel problems, you get constipated for which you are prescribed more medication, lactulose and macrogol. But that gives you diarrhoea. So you stop the lactulose which just causes more misery. In all these years I have yet to find a balance, even a natural one, because it is always being increased.
