After 3 years of taking 1 tablet a day, I've noticed that my body has become addicted to this: when I have severe pain my muscles and a general feeling of being unwell, I take 2 tables and the symptoms disappear. I have tried to reduce the dose on more than one occasion (first 3/4 per day for a week, then 1/2, and so on...) But it didn't work and the symptoms that I had before starting this com...

After having first used Ropinorol, which made me ill and nauseous. Been on Pramipexole since January. There are no side effects apart from extreme tiredness when it starts working. That's usually about 2 hours after I've taken it but as far as I'm concerned that's not so good as you have to wait so long for it to start working. Neurologist advised taking 2 tablets every evening. But I stopped this pretty quickly because I was retaining so much fluid and it made me fall asleep. So now I only take it when I notice that my legs are becoming restless. Sometimes one is enough, sometimes I need to take more. Depends on how bad the attack. is. Sometimes it affects my whole body.
