ibandronic sodium monohydrate (150mg) for osteoporosis

Falling down on the street, I fractured my upper arm. I asked the surgeon for a dexa (bone density) scan, given my age and on account of the fracture. Had the dexa scan and, yep, osteoporosis. Prescribed Ibandronate for 5 years, 1 tablet a month as well as a daily dose of 2 calcium chews/vitamin D tablets.
