Experiences with Ferinject

It's the second time I'm getting ferinject. While I was getting the medicine I got a rash and a sensation of tingling in the throat, which went away after a while. After the first day I got extreme fatigue, dizziness and some difficulty breathing. My stress levels also got high but that could be because of the tiredeness I experience. I've read that other people have had reactions like muscle pain to Ferinject. The first day there was no reaction apart from a bruised feeling in my legs. The second day I was shivery just as I was last time, day two and three at night the nausea started and I was listless, like I had flu or something but I had exactly the same thing 3 months ago but I'm now lying in bed with a temp of 38.5. Via day nursing. The first time worked really quickly, was able to go home after a good hour. Three days later really tired, muscle pain, listless and disillusioned because other people around me always said that afterwards you will feel a bit better. Hopefully it will go away quickly and I can be happy.

I have recurring iron-deficiency anaemia. Tablets don't help. That's why from time to time I get an iron infusion. I need to lie in the hospital for a few hours and then I'm done. I have absolutely no side-effects and after one and a half weeks and back to myself for the next couple of months.
