Terbinafine (250mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

After trying Micosan brush - for more than a year - and the Nailner pen I stopped. At my insistence - good experience many years ago - doctor gave me Terbinafine. Despite all the horror stories nothing happened to me, or only maybe it did: my stools became really quite loose. Is that because of the Terbinafine? Possibly. I am 70, don't take any other medicines, hardly drink alcohol, don't smoke...

Terbinafine (250mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

I was worried after reading all the stories on the Internet, but I took them for 128 days without any side effects. After a few weeks I had a liver check that came back fine, growing it out took a long time but I'd already had this infection for 10 years or so. Last year the nail came off and my toe got really sore in my shoes so I got another course. Now happy with nice, pretty, smooth nails.

Terbinafine (250mg) for eczema

After five years of eczema on hands and feet (couldn’t even wear shoes) and all it took was one treatment and I was completely cured. The eczema was apparently caused by a fungus. No side effects, except alcohol withdrawal.

Terbinafine (250mg) for mycosis (skin)

As far as I'm concerned you only ever hear the horror stories on the internet. This was my second course, for two weeks. The time before it was three weeks. Never had any side effects. But be careful with alcohol, because your liver will be struggling enough with the medicine as it is. You're best off avoiding it altogether!

Terbinafine (250mg) for bacterial infection

After a few days I had a really high temperature, 40.7, and a heart rate of 150. Admitted to hospital. To start off with they couldn't get the fever and heart rate under control. Kidney failure. After 3 days in intensive care they managed to get everything sort of under control.

Terbinafine (250mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

After reading many negative reactions about this medicine I still decided to try it. I've been taking it for about a month now. Up to now, everything has been fine. No sign of side effects. I've also noticed I've been feeling a bit better in myself since I started taking this medicine (I don't really know if this has actually got anything to do with it?). But the jury's still out on the results...

Terbinafine (250mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

Hi, Heard loads of really bad stories from GPs and other users on this website. I was really hesitant about the side-effects, but now I've been taking it for four months and still not had any problems with it. I'm a young lad in my early twenties, I exercise twice a week and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. In the meantime my toes are virtually totally free of the infection. I've just got 14...

Terbinafine (250mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

Problems with fungal nails. Already tried all of the household, garden and kitchen remedies. Started taking the tablets two weeks ago. There is still no improvement but really awful pain in my upper right abdomen. Feels like a bruised rib but it's just a sensitive liver. Apart from this and fit and healthy and don't take any medication. GP called and I need to have a blood test to test my liver...
