Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Locally inserted hormons instead of through the entire body through 'the pill'. Saves me from lots of side effects caused by this.

Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Easy to use, less interference with hormones (localised), regular cycle returns quickly afterwards (as opposed to the pill).

Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

I was looking for a contraceptive that I couldn't forget. The ring is really handy compared to the pill which you have to think about every day. But I ended up stopping it because of so many headaches. I was getting them daily in the evening during my week off and now and then throughout the month. Then I stopped (all contraception) and the headaches virtually disappeared.

Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Because I kept forgetting to take the pill, I spoke to the gynaecologist and decided to switch to the Nuvaring. Within one week I noticed a massive difference within myself. Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Migraine, nauseous and miserable. But this went away after 24 hours. But she has to call in sick one day every month. So now she puts it in, takes some metoclopramide, and 2x exedrin and goes to be...

Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Having my first NuvaRing taken out today. Found it perfect up to now. The first few days some problems with side-effects: spots, headache and stomach ache. Were gone after about four days. Suffered slightly less with PMS. For the time being I'm quite happy with it.

Ethinyl estradiol / etonogestrel (2,7/11,7mg) for contraception / birth control

Switched from Diane-35 to NuvaRing because I kept forgetting to take my pill, which led to breakthrough bleeding. Now I'm really happy with my NuvaRing, no daily pill any more! Putting the ring in is really easy and you can't feel it when you're walking, exercising or not even during sex! I would recommend it to other people, it's perfect! It is a bit more expensive than the pill (10 a month) b...
