Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

Blister strips packaging so ridiculous. Ironic that my painful fingers are partially caused by the medicine. And so it's difficult and painful to press the tablet out of the strip.

Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

After amputation due to a large hormone-sensitive tumour I had Tamoxifen prescribed before starting radiation therapy. Because it didn’t have the expected result the amount of 20mg was changed to 40 mg after 3 months. This also didn’t help so for the last 2 weeks I’m on Anastrozol. How long does it take for side effects to show? The only thing I noticed are tiny hot flashes, so minimal they sho...

Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

I've been taking Anastrozol since May last year. Lots of pain in my joints and muscles. As well as hot flushes and sweating, which makes me feel really tired. I had breast cancer. I've been through the whole cycle, operation, chemo and radiation. Now I "have" to take Anastrazol for five years. Now and then I also feel terribly ditsy. Has anyone else suffered with these symptoms?

Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, got the full works: breast-saving operation, chemo, radiation and hormone therapy. Started on tamoxifen and been on anastrozol for a few months now. The side effects of anastrozol are, for me, stiff, painful fingers (trigger finger) and sleepiness. I fall asleep reading, can't concentrate and can't remember what I've read. Really annoying because I'm studyi...

Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

After two and half years of taking Tamoxifen, during which the entire time I had really bad muscle pains, the switch to Anastrozol has gone off without a hitch. The only noticeable side effect is pain in my hands and feet. I've been on it for nine months and I get the feeling that the pain is increasing slightly. Annoying, but I can live with it. The second (annual) dexascan for bone density sh...

Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

I have been really tired since I started taking anastrozol, I'm losing strength, even my lungs are struggling when I breathe. And I've had my thumb put in a cast with a brace because I couldn't bear the pain any more. A huge amount of bone, muscle and tendon pain. I don't want to have sex any more either. I can't take my own jumper off, my husband has to help me. The pills seem to be attacking ...
