Anastrozole

3/15/2017 | | 55moderated by Susan
Anastrozole (1mg) for breast cancer

After amputation due to a large hormone-sensitive tumour I had Tamoxifen prescribed before starting radiation therapy. Because it didn’t have the expected result the amount of 20mg was changed to 40 mg after 3 months. This also didn’t help so for the last 2 weeks I’m on Anastrozol. How long does it take for side effects to show? The only thing I noticed are tiny hot flashes, so minimal they shouldn’t even be called hot flashes. I never had any problems during menopause so who knows. Aching joints however are not something I’m looking forward to.
