Naltrexone (50MG) for Fibromyalgia (FM or FMS)

I tried naltrexone at a low dose of 4.5 mg dose years ago, and it had no effect on my pain levels. But at a higher dose (I started with 24.5 mg and now take 50 mg) it is extraordinarily effective. Only been on this for 3 days and still want a drink hopefully that will pass. Tried Campral last month, that went well for 3 weeks but then the desire came back strong. I just don't think I've found the right one.

Naltrexone (50mg) for drug addiction

Prescribed by Jellinek, addiction doctor. It also helped really well in my struggle against over-eating. Which is also an addiction. I was addicted to amphetamines and if I didn't take any amphetamines, I started binge eating. I've had this since puberty. This medicine combined with cognitive behaviour therapy have given me my life back. It means I don't have continual hunger and food cravings....

Taking just naltrexone for alcohol addiction is not enough, at the moment not stopped naltrexone, trying it in combination with baclofen to test its effectiveness according to the book by dr ameisen. he called it "baclotrexone"
