Itraconazole (100mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

After I had a pedicure I was advised to get in touch with my GP to start on a 3-month course of Itraconazol. I've suffered with nail infections on my toes for around 15 years, usually about 2 a year. Itraconazole (100mg) for mycosis of the hand

Off/on treatment of 1 week medicine, 3 weeks no medicine. Three times. I did think there was a bit of an improvement but actually, after a month it just seemed to quickly get worse.

Itraconazole (100mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

Itraconazole (100mg) for fungal nail infection (onychomycosis)

Has actually helped. Take the seven days stop for three weeks and so on three times. Had a new course in 2015. No side-effects. It has reduced but not completely gone. Still on one thumb and my two big toes. It's not getting worse but I'm not taking this any more. Going to try natural products but it can take a long time to see any results. It's not as damaging as all of their chemical pills.
