Allopurinol (300mg) for gout

After having gotten the third attack within 2 months I got allopurinol prescribed by the Doctor, as well as Colchichine and diclofenac. Colchichine works fine, but has very heavy update (diarrhea). Having started with Allopurinol, the gout-free periods have been extended. After about 1 year I was completely gout free.

Allopurinol (200mg) for gout

psoriasis developed after a couple of months of taking allopurinol (because of gout), gradually over my whole body (even in my face). Went to the dermatologist with all my creams etc. dismissed the connection with allopurinol. I forgot to take allopurinol one time, was a coincidence that it was less aggressive. Stopped taking allopurinol off my own back. Within a month my psoriasis was gone.

Allopurinol (100mg) for gout

The pain was chronic. I was suffering from the long-term effects of taking dicolfenac (a very good painkiller much better than paracetamol). I had to chose between severe pain an serious stomach complaints. Used dicolfenac for the first 4 days and the pain went. Still have serious stomach complaints.
