Xanax

Alprazolam (2MG) for Anxiety & panic disorder

Once, I purchased Xanax from an online store. When I received the package, I cross-checked the medications in the package. I found variations of dosage in the package. I was annoyed with this internet purchase. Then, I returned to the web portal and checked with the return policy and placed my return order. Then the customer service provider contacted me and enquired about the order return. The...

Citalopram (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Previous usage worked fine but for some reason i am now suffering from side effects and it doesn't seem to be working so well. The panic attacks still manage to make their way through. On the 20th of December i'm going to increase my dosage to 30mg.

Zoloft

Sertraline (50mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

It seems that I am missing an enzym in the liver, this enzym breaks down the medication in my liver. Zoloft needs this enzym as well, For me it doesn't work, but I hear good stories with other patients.

Venlafaxine

Venlafaxine (150mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

For me it seems like venlafaxine is a wonder drug. Tried to come off it once but unsuccessfully. I am a completely different person thanks to Venlafaxine. If I'd have had this fifty years ago I would have had a very different life.

Lorazepam

Lorazepam (1mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Used a lot of Lorazepam 1 mg. From 1 to 6 tablets a day during severe depression last year. They started being less efficient so I had to start coming off them, 2 months ago I was only on 1 or 2 a day! Then I went through a separation and was suddenly really anxious and panicky. It was either hospital admission (not ideal) or increasing to 4 x 2.5 mg a day. The anxiety and panic are now managea...

Fluoxetine (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Anxiety symptoms disappeared, but I put on 16 kg and developed horrendous eczema which meant I ended up spending 2 days a week for 3 months undergoing light therapy in the hospital.

Sertraline

Sertraline (50mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

I was prescribed sertraline today by the doctor but after reading the patient information leaflet I didn't think I really should take them because I'd been worrying about heart problems for 8 weeks. That was all sorted but my anxiety and symptoms remain because I've read that you can still suddenly have a heart attack or other heart disease so I probably shouldn't really take them. Going back t...

Citalopram

Citalopram (10mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

This drug helped me get the sharp edges off and my fear is as good as disappeared. Sometimes I'm even slightly too careless lately. It certainly flattens, but for a sensitive person like me (who was almost always under tension) it has long been a relief. I was there. I use it now 1.5 years and it goes well with me. I dare everything again and feel much more confident. I would therefore like to ...

Oxazepam

Oxazepam (10mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Oxazepam works pretty quickly in that as soon as I feel a panic attack coming on, I can take one and it helps. I find this more appealing than using it preventatively and being dazed all day.

Paroxetine

Paroxetine (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Due to trauma in my childhood I now suffer from mild anxiety and panic disorders. I'm also rather down. I asked to try medication and the GP suggested paroxetine. In the first two weeks I had loads of side effects: lack of concentration, really tired, no appetite, weight gain. No more problems after then though. There are loads of benefits to this medicine! A lot less blue and anxious.

Citalopram

Citalopram (10mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

I've been using citalopram 10 mg for 4 weeks. For panic attacks. As far as they are concerned this is definitely helping, but I'm dizzy all day long, nauseous and have absolutely no appetite... Anyone else have this experience?

Citalopram

Citalopram (10mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

I started taking citalopram 6 years ago and about one year ago I stopped. Things aren't going so well for me again now and I've just started back on them. I've just started with 5 mg. I can't remember what dose I was on the last time I started though. So I'm curious to see if the side effects are just as bad on 5 mg. Has anyone got any advice?

Citalopram

Citalopram (20mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

Before I started taking this medicine I couldn't even get out of my front door. If I managed to get a foot outside, I immediately started full-on panicking. I've been on this now for 7 weeks and my panic attacks are pretty much gone. I can think rationally about my anxieties and the therapy has become much more effective. The first week I really suffered with side effects though (dizziness, shi...
