Mesalamine (800mg) for ulcerative colitis

Started with Asacol after my diagnosis. In the beginning it seemed to help but the medicine isn't strong enough to fully suppress the inflammation unfortunately. Apart from that no problems with any side effects.

Mesalamine (250mg) for ulcerative colitis

I felt worse and worse until one morning I passed out and ended up in the hospital, I had fierce pain in my chest but they thought that it was just because of the fall. After a week and a half they decided to stop all of my medication and after just half a day I was feeling so much better. Adalimumab (50mg/ml) for ulcerative colitis

Actually really happy about using Humira. It's really good at keeping my illness (ulcerative colitis) under control. Of course, the injections aren't exactly a fun thing to have to do, but I only have to do one every two weeks.

Azathioprine (100mg) for ulcerative colitis

Had ulcerative colitis four years ago. Treatment with cortisone was no longer effective. After stopping the treatment I relapsed straight away. So the specialist prescribed me azathioprine. I was supposed to increase to 200 mg/day and it should have taken a few weeks before I noticed any effects. However after just one week it was already better. When I got to 200 mg I had felt continuously nau...
