Pentasa

Mesalamine (250mg) for ulcerative colitis

I felt worse and worse until one morning I passed out and ended up in the hospital, I had fierce pain in my chest but they thought that it was just because of the fall. After a week and a half they decided to stop all of my medication and after just half a day I was feeling so much better. It transpired that I had an infection in my pericardium triggered by the use of pentasa which I had started taking a couple of weeks before my admission to hospital.
