Omeprazole

Omeprazole (40mg) for reflux

Really high dose from the ENT doctor 2 x 40 mg. Issues with my buccal mucosa and headaches and dizziness. Increased. Above all, it was the mouth symptoms I suffered most with. Stopped it, headache gone and mouth symptoms reduced.

Esomeprazole

Esomeprazole (40mg) for reflux

2 x 40 mg per day is not enough to completely neutralise the heartburn. Still get stomach pains with it. Recently been given Sucralfate which seems to help a bit.

Omeprazole

Omeprazole (40mg) for reflux

For the first few days I just felt more nauseous, but after a week I didn't have any more problems with it. I hardly have stomach pain any more. The only side effect is that my stomach feels different and that means I'm much less aware of my hunger and appetite.

The leaflet I got from the pharmacist in the form of a letter advised only back problems and stomach pain. In the long term I experienced general malaise, deep depression with fear of death. I had no energy any more and life seemed to be more of a challenge than an enjoyment. Then I got new boxes from a different factory and I saw on the leaflet that I basically had had all of the serious side ...

Pantoprazole (40mg) for reflux

also used this 2 years ago, but I can't say that it helps with the pain in my chest when I exert myself.Heart checked, all good. I also take zocor and calcium with vitamin d.
