Valdoxan

11/11/2015 | | 35moderated by Philip
agomelatine (25mg) for anxiety & panic disorder

To start off with I was given an anti-depressant which turned me into a right grump for about 4 hours after I had taken it. Not great if you have a fear of vomiting. Essentially valdoxan was fine for me, no side effects. At one point I was taking 2 a day in the evening instead of 1. Then I gradually reduced down to one every other day. But a colleague of mine (who isn't a psychologist or psychiatrist!) said I should go back to taking one every day. Then all of a sudden I was really depressed again. So I stopped. And either stop altogether or start taking something else, i.e. oxytocin. So that's what I'm looking for. So despite the fact that initially I had no side effects and I was really happy with it, I still want to stop taking it.
