Isotretinoin

isotretinoin (20mg) for acne / spots

This is now my fifth month on these, started on 10 mg. I'm 20 years old and I've suffered with spots since I was 11. After having tried everything, including the pill, I went to a dermatologist. Dry lips to the max, sores in my nose, flaky skin around my eyes. Minimal effect on the acne and the dermatologist now wants me to move up to 30 mg and take a short course of prednisone too. The worst side effect: depression. I can't cope with how bad I feel, randomly bursting into tears. I really don't think this is for me. That's why I'm thinking of stopping, got a follow-up next week
