ivabradine hydrochloride (5mg) for congenital heart disease

I've now been using ivabradine for 4 months. Initially 5 mg and now 2.5. Really suffering with the side effects, blurred vision/light perception, dizzy, nauseous, muscle pain/acidification and I have also noticed that I am getting increasingly more palpitations. I can hardly do anything active at all. If I do, I get really dizzy and need to sit down straight away before I faint. Also a kind of vague unpleasant feeling. I'm also starting to retain water. According to the cardiologist, my heart rate is fine... and I am sleeping a bit better. But these are the only positive things. Hopefully they will all go away eventually, but after 4 months of this, I'm having a hard time believing that they will...
