Co-Trimoxazole

trimethoprim, sulfamethoxazole (160/800mg) for sinus infection

I’m not allowed to take all antibiotics because I suffer from manic depression. So I already told which ones I’d rather have, but they still gave me something else. After two days I couldn’t walk any more, I just sat on my couch shaking, with terrible tummy ache and a headache. I took so much oxazepam just to suppress the side effects. After a week I quit and now I’m fine but very angry!

Doxycycline

doxycycline hyclate (100mg) for sinus infection

I slept loads the day after my first dose. Then it didn't bother me any more. My tummy did hurt the whole time I was on it though. Now and then I did get a bit dizzy. For 2 days after my last tablet, everything seemed to be going better, but then the symptoms came back. Back to the GP to ask him for advice.
