My whole life I have been stressed, chaotic, impulsive. I have been taking methylphenidate retard for four months. At the start I had a lot of headaches and palpitations. But the effect was amazing. I was more focused at work. I work in a care home and in the past I always reacted when the residents asked for something. I jumped from one thing to another. Now I finish my tasks and don't get annoyed when the residents ask me a question in the middle of something. At home my husband and children are also happier about my calmer behaviour. I find that this medication really helps. My son also take this medication and he is really happy with it too.
