Escitalopram

Escitalopram (10mg) for depression

I take escitalopram because I was depressed during my pregnancy. The first few weeks were difficult, I struggled with depression, tiredness, headaches, listlessness etc but after these weeks I started to feel a bit better. After labour I was really low for a number of weeks but recently my mood has increased. After I had him, my son and I had to stay in for checks but this was actually really good, breastfeeding went really well too. I still can't cry and have difficulty expressing my emotions but apart from that I feel fine! I'm going to see if I can start coming off them at the end of this year...
