Concerta

11/8/2016 | | 20moderated by Charlotte
Methylphenidate (27mg) for attention deficit disorder (ADD)

I have been using concerta for about a month now and for my ADD it is very effective. I can concentrate well and starting and completing any task is so much easier. As a side effect however I have severe loss of hair. For me this is a serious reason to quit this medicine. Sometimes I get very tense and get exhausted in the evenings, but this in itself would be ok to deal with. Its mainly the hair loss which is very annoying. My appetite was only less in the first two weeks, now that side effect is gone. Before concerta I used ritalin, which also worked fine but gave me palpitations.
