Quetiapine (300mg) for schizoaffective disorder (SAD or SZA)
First of all I was given the usual 2 x 300 mg. I had to pee every 15 minutes for the first 4 hours after taking it. Then I was given 2 x 300 mg XR. Couldn't pee at all and went straight back to the doctor. Apparently it's urine retention, a side effect of Seroquel!! What a pain!! Stopped taking it straight away, the total daily dose of 600 mg. Urgent consultation with the psychiatrist and start...
