First of all I was given the usual 2 x 300 mg. I had to pee every 15 minutes for the first 4 hours after taking it. Then I was given 2 x 300 mg XR. Couldn't pee at all and went straight back to the doctor. Apparently it's urine retention, a side effect of Seroquel!! What a pain!! Stopped taking it straight away, the total daily dose of 600 mg. Urgent consultation with the psychiatrist and started on Clozapine. Up to now I've been tolerating the Clozapine quite well.
