Citalopram

citalopram hydrobromide (20mg) for depression

The psychiatrist prescribed this medicine for me. Still not really sure why? I was against it right from the start. In principle I don't have a depressive disposition, but I've always been given to introspection. Does that mean you should take medicine though? While I was using this medicine I felt about 20% of my usual 100%. It didn't have any positive effect on me at all. I'm coming off this medicine now, from 20 mg to 15 mg and currently on 10 mg. Not easy. I'm getting unwanted side effects like a feeling in my stomach that's akin to anxiety after I've taken it, since I've been coming off it.
