Citalopram

citalopram hydrobromide (40mg) for depression

The GP prescribed me Citalopram on the advice of my psychologist. From 10, then 20 and now 40 mg. I was supposed to feel more energised. But after using it for almost 2 years I still hadn't got any more energy and I decided to stop taking it by going down to one every other day. After 2 weeks I had totally stopped. I didn't notice a single physical difference, no side effects. I took my supply of pills back to the GP and she was shocked at my cold turkey approach. I've been off the pills for 4 weeks now and you know what? More energy than before!
