Entocort CR

29/07/2017 | | 27moderated by Henry
budesonide (9mg) for ulcerative colitis

Taken entocort for 2 months. Only disadvantage is that you have to take the capsules early in the morning. And the advantage for me was that in the first month (9mg) I had loads of energy; something I was not used to!! This disappeared a bit though when I went down to 6mg. Then I also felt nauseous and had the odd headache. For the colitis symptoms: I noticed an improvement after about 4/5 days; stools were more solid and I had less stomach pain. Prednisone works quicker in that respect, but entocort seems to be milder.
