Sertraline

20/06/2017 | | 33moderated by Henry
sertraline hydrochloride (50mg) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

Seems to work as far as it's supposed to. The side effects aren't noticeable in regular daily life. On the higher dose (200 mg) I definitely struggled with a beeping tone in my ears before I went to bed and for the first 3 months I had terrible problems with restless legs and ankles. For the intrusive thoughts it doesn't really do much for me (still suffering from them), compared to the previous 2 ssris (which unfortunately stopped working after a couple of months). My GP is monitoring the situation but I have been using this for 6 months and now I think it's time for a change.
