Crestor

rosuvastatin calcium (40mg) for high cholesterol

I've been taking statins since my 20s because of dangerously high cholesterol levels, over 10. I'm not overweight, run 3 times a week and walk a lot. I started off taking Zocor and I'm now on Crestor. Unfortunately I have now got the same side effects as the ones I had when I was taking simvastatin. Really bad muscle pain. My wrists are tender and it's just getting worse. And the muscles in my behind and thighs are painful, especially after sleeping, sometimes the pain even wakes me up. My cholesterol level has gone down from 10.9 to 5.1. They are easy to take. I just wish that there was something for the pain.
