I started taking this today. Because my cholesterol is 7.5. Took statins before. But stopped taking them because they were giving me awful muscle pains. I've got MS and I don't need that as well. My cardiologist says that there aren't any statins in this medicine. And few side effects. But reading here, I can see that this medicine can give you quite a few side effects actually. Grr! So disheartened by all these medicines. I might as well keep on with this one.
