betahistine dihydrochloride (16mg) for Meniere's disease

after 2 severe episodes of dizziness and nausea in May 2012 the GP sent me to the ENT doctor and after extensive investigation it was established that I have Meniere's disease. GP prescribed me 3 x a day betahistine 2HCL Accord. 2 days after I first took it, I had another attack but a lot less severe than the previous ones, now been on it for 6 years and had no more attacks or side effects. So I'm really happy, I'm allowed to drive, ride my bike, etc. again.
